Bambaroui has a geographical origin ”between Fela Kuti and Sefardic” – the roots of the music come from both the Arabic and Jewish music tradition from North/West Africa to the Middle East, far back. Bambaroui mixes traditional acoustic instruments with electrics. An exciting ”music-spiritual” meeting with great respect for tradition. This suggestive pulse beat and ambients are easily improvised together with the western music tradition – from J. S. Bach to HipHop.
